Yesterday was such a great day! I got to spend time with someone I love very much...my Daddy :) We drove to some different places and took pictures. I think we could both do that all of the time...the cameras seem to be permanently attached to us. No worries---it just makes a lot of memories!
The first place we went to was somewhere that I had never been. It was called the Cherokee Rock Village. Such a neat place! I can't wait to go back and take Kobe. Hannah's probably still a little too rambunctious to go. I see lots of injuries in the future if she goes, ha,ha!
The next stop was Noccalula Falls----nice place, sad story :(
Sticking to the "Falls" theme, we also went to Little River Canyon and DeSoto State Park.
And of course, a couple of random stops along the way...
There were other random stops, but I failed to take a picture of the apple pie or ice cream cone...oops! I get my sweet tooth honestly ;) Such a great day!!!!!

Hi! No pictures tonight---just wanted to post some song lyrics ("If You Want Me To" by Christian artist Genni Owens) that have been stuck in my head for the past couple of days. I hadn't heard this song in years, and all of the sudden, there it was in my mind. It has such powerful lyrics and serves as a reminder that no matter where we are in life, God is there and is using each and every thing to His glory. Sometimes we have to go through dark times, even if we don't want to or don't understand, even if it's not easy, so that His will for our life can be carried out. It's always so amazing to see how trials lead to even greater things than we could imagine! I hope you all enjoy the lyrics as much as I do.
The pathway is broken and the signs are unclear, and I don't know the reason why you brought me here. But just because you love me the way that you do, I'm gonna walk through the valley if you want me to.
'Cause I'm not who I was when I took my first step, and I'm clinging to the promise you're not through with me yet. So if all of these trials bring me closer to you, then I will go through the fire if you want me to.
It may not be the way I would've chosen when you lead me through a world that's not my home. But you never said it would be easy. You only said I'd never go alone.
When the whole world turns against me and I'm all by myself, and I can't hear you answer my cries for help, I'll remember the suffering that your love put you through, and I will walk through the darkness if you want me to.
'Cause when I cross over Jordan, I'm gonna sing, gonna shout. I'm gonna look into your eyes and see you never let me down. So take me on the pathway that leads me home to you, and I will walk through the valley if you want me to.

I just finished a post last night and I'm already back today....impressive!!! Well, actually it's not that good because I should be at work. Instead, I'm at home on the couch. Being sick is no fun at all :( Hopefully I can use this time to rest and catch up on my posts. Like the last post, this one will mostly be pictures.
Hannah and Peyton at the school's "Jazz Night"
Talladega (Kobe's first trip to the Nascar Race)
Kobe with his bowling trophies...of course, Hannah had to have her picture with them too! He wasn't too thrilled about her having the picture made, so he added his own little twist to it.
