WE DO NOT STOP PLAYING BECAUSE WE GROW OLD; WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE STOP PLAYING.

Lots of adventures this month!

We went to Nannie's birthday party on July 9th. The kids had fun playing, helping with presents and eating Mawmaw's vanilla pie.

Kobe's birthday was July 10th, the same day as my sweet buddy Nikki! I love all of my girls! Ok...Kobe's birthday---we didn't have his party that day, so we did some other special things. Curtis had to work so Hannah and I joined Kobe for breakfast at IHOP, or "HIOP" as Hannah says. Kobe loves the omelets there.

After breakfast, we went to Barnes and Noble. Kobe found a poster there that he liked. We followed the bookstore up with a trip to the lake for another fishing attempt...VERY unsuccessful!!! Oh well :) Victor ate supper with us (Kobe chose steak and baked potato. Not your typical kid meal, huh?) and spent the night. The boys behaved really well, but Hannah was a different story. She wanted to play with the big kids, but they didn't like that idea too much.

We were on vacation the following week. Instead of going out of town, we just decided to take some day trips and have a relaxing time at home. Monday was the day that the kids had check-ups, so we just went to lunch and Putt-Putt. Hannah had to have four shots. That didn't go very well, but later in the day she was fine for the most part and wanted to show everyone her crayon bandages. Kobe and I made a robot out of wallpaper pieces that night. It ended up being a little taller than I am (which isn't saying too much I guess!). We had such a fun time doing that :)

Some other things that we did during the week were go to Chuck E. Cheese's, White Water, and the Chattanooga Zoo. Everyone enjoyed those things.

At the end of the week we had Kobe's bowling party for his birthday. He had a lot of fun and got some great presents. He's such a fortunate child. I hope he always realizes just how lucky he is to have lots of people that love him and spend so much time with him.

It rained Sunday while Kobe had some friend over. The kids were all playing in the rain and I decided to join in. I couldn't resist! Such a fun way to end the week :)

So sleepy....goodnight!

The kids and I played in the water tonight while Curtis volunteered to be the photographer. There's nothing like a water hose during the summer. Fun, fun!!!!

Can't wait for the next adventure : )
